Amelia and her husband Elger, started their home based business in 2020 after Covid-19 affected their printing business. Friends and family who loved her carrot cake, encouraged them and often expressed they would gladly pay for her cakes. Amelia's Hong Kong style carrot cake with mushrooms, chinese sausage, dried shrimps and her signature shreds have the perfect texture and amazing flavour. They can be pan-fried or steamed but our favourite is the classic pan fry, with a crunchy brown crust and soft fragrant center. Photo by Fasiha Nazren
